The Shout Sisters are a London-based international three-part vocal harmony group who, along with their band made up of London’s most eminent jazz musicians, are dedicated to reviving and showcasing the brilliant music, the virtuosic arrangements and the beautiful vocal harmonies of The Boswell Sisters.
Hailing from New Orleans, The Boswell Sisters were composers, arrangers and performers whose complex harmonies, scat rhythms and dizzying tempo changes dazzled the audiences of their time. Their theme tune, “Shout Sister, Shout” inspired the name of this group, which which has had the pleasure of performing for dancers and concert audiences alike in London and around the UK, including Nighthawks Weekender in 2023.
