Born in New York City, raised in London, and educated at Boston University and at the New England Conservatory as an operatic soprano, transatlantic sensation Elise Roth has been known to dazzle audiences on both sides of the Atlantic with her musicality, wit, and style. Since 2014, she has gigged all across New England and Great Britain, and also in New York, Los Angeles, Japan, Italy, and Berlin. Elise has twice been guest vocalist with the Glenn Miller Orchestra for their 2021 and 2022 holiday tours across New England, New York, and Canada. She is also regular Nighthawk, having appeared twice here with her Shout Sisters and their band.
Her Harvard Squares, a 9-piece miniature big band, make their debut at Nighthawks, slinging swing music from the 1930s and 1940s for dancers and devotees alike in our Saturday headline slot.
