The Red Stripe Band was formed way back in 1994 by (in the words of NME) “eccentric raconteur and Boogie Woogie front man Red Stripe”, and since then they have performed at virtually every Jazz Festival in the British Isles and beyond including a memorable performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Other performances include appearances at Le Scimmie in Milan , Tokyo’s “Flat 5” and New York City’s “Swing 46”. Expect a high energy and entertaining mix of classic Rock n roll, swing and boogie woogie alongside their own compositions selected from their four studio albums.
